High-Resolution Head CT Anatomy: 2 mm Multiplanar Images | Premium Subscription Access

Explore our advanced head and brain CT anatomy library, featuring high-resolution anatomical images reconstructed in axial, coronal and sagittal planes. This comprehensive learning module has been developed using thin-slice CT imaging and high-quality multiplanar reconstructions to demonstrate clinically realistic cross-sectional anatomy.

The head and brain section covers important anatomical structures of the brain, skull, face and surrounding soft tissues. These include the cerebral hemispheres, cerebral lobes, basal ganglia, thalamus, internal capsule, corpus callosum, brainstem, cerebellum, ventricular system, cranial fossae, skull base, facial bones, paranasal sinuses, orbits, temporal bones and major intracranial vascular landmarks.

The module is designed to make complex head and brain anatomy clearer and easier to understand on CT. It provides a useful reference for radiologists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, emergency physicians, radiology trainees, reporting radiographers and students learning cross-sectional anatomy and neuroimaging.

Each CT image is manually labelled slice by slice in a textbook-style format, without the use of AI auto-labelling tools. This approach helps maintain anatomical accuracy and provides a reliable educational reference for clinical practice, examination preparation and image interpretation.

The labelled images are displayed within a smooth interactive scroller, allowing users to move naturally through the anatomy in the same way they would review a clinical CT examination. The platform works on desktop and mobile devices, while the full-screen viewer supports detailed examination of small anatomical structures.

The toolbar allows users to switch between axial, coronal and sagittal planes and search for specific anatomical structures using voice or text search. This makes it easier to locate important landmarks such as the basal ganglia, internal capsule, brainstem, ventricles, cranial sutures, skull-base foramina, orbital structures and paranasal sinuses.

The side zoom tool provides up to 10× magnification without loss of image quality, allowing users to examine fine anatomical details and understand the relationships between intracranial structures, bones, soft tissues and air-filled spaces.

This module is supported by dynamic Level 1 and Level 2 quizzes that generate new questions during each session. These interactive assessments help users actively revise, test their knowledge and retain complex head and brain CT anatomy.
