High-Resolution CT Chest Anatomy: Soft-Tissue and Lung-Window Images | Premium Subscription Access
Explore our advanced CT chest anatomy library, featuring high-resolution labelled images displayed in both soft-tissue and lung-window settings. The module includes axial images with multiplanar coronal and sagittal reconstructions, allowing users to study thoracic anatomy in the same way they would review a clinical chest CT examination.
The soft-tissue window section focuses on the mediastinum, heart, major blood vessels, chest wall and upper abdominal structures. Important anatomical landmarks include the heart chambers, coronary arteries, thoracic aorta, pulmonary arteries and veins, superior and inferior vena cava, brachiocephalic vessels, oesophagus, trachea, main bronchi, thymus, lymph-node stations, diaphragm and thoracic muscles.
The lung-window section demonstrates the lungs, airways and pleural spaces in greater detail. Users can study the pulmonary lobes, bronchopulmonary segments, tracheobronchial tree, interlobar fissures, pulmonary vessels, pleura, costophrenic angles and relationships between the lungs and surrounding mediastinal structures.
This module is designed to make complex thoracic anatomy clearer and easier to understand across different CT window settings. It provides a reliable learning resource for radiologists, respiratory physicians, thoracic surgeons, radiology trainees, reporting radiographers and students learning cross-sectional anatomy and chest imaging.
Each CT image is manually labelled slice by slice in a textbook-style format, without the use of AI auto-labelling tools. This approach helps maintain anatomical accuracy and provides a dependable reference for clinical practice, examination preparation and image interpretation.
The labelled images are displayed within a smooth interactive scroller, allowing users to move naturally through the chest anatomy as they would when reviewing a clinical CT study. The platform works on desktop and mobile devices, while the full-screen viewer supports detailed examination of small anatomical structures.
The toolbar allows users to switch between axial, coronal and sagittal planes and search for specific structures using voice or text search. This makes it easier to locate important landmarks such as the aortic arch, pulmonary trunk, superior vena cava, carina, main bronchi, pulmonary lobes, fissures, pleura and mediastinal compartments.
The side zoom tool provides up to 10× magnification without loss of image quality, helping users examine detailed anatomical relationships within the lungs, mediastinum, chest wall and upper abdomen.
This module is supported by dynamic Level 1 and Level 2 quizzes that generate new questions during each session. These interactive assessments help users revise, test their knowledge and retain CT chest anatomy across both soft-tissue and lung-window settings.
