High-Resolution Female Abdomen and Pelvis CT Anatomy: 1 mm Multiplanar Images | Premium Subscription Access
Explore our advanced female abdomen and pelvis CT anatomy library, featuring high-resolution anatomical images reconstructed in axial, coronal and sagittal planes. This comprehensive learning module has been developed using thin-slice CT imaging and high-quality multiplanar reconstructions to demonstrate clinically realistic cross-sectional anatomy.
The female abdomen and pelvis section covers the major abdominal and pelvic organs, vascular structures, bones, muscles, fascial planes and surrounding soft tissues. These include the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, kidneys, adrenal glands, stomach, small bowel, colon, abdominal aorta, inferior vena cava, portal venous system, urinary bladder, uterus, cervix, ovaries, fallopian tube regions, vagina, rectum, pelvic floor and pelvic sidewalls.
The module also demonstrates important anatomical relationships within the female pelvis, including the position of the uterus in relation to the urinary bladder and rectum, the adnexal regions, broad ligament area, uterine vessels, pelvic ureters, iliac vessels and lymph node stations. These structures can be difficult to identify on routine CT imaging, so the module is designed to make female abdominal and pelvic anatomy clearer and easier to understand.
Each CT image is manually labelled slice by slice in a textbook-style format, without the use of AI auto-labelling tools. This helps preserve anatomical accuracy and provides a reliable educational reference for radiologists, gynaecologists, surgeons, oncologists, radiology trainees, reporting radiographers and students learning cross-sectional anatomy.
The labelled images are displayed within a smooth interactive scroller, allowing users to move naturally through the anatomy in the same way they would review a clinical CT examination. The platform works on desktop and mobile devices, and the full-screen viewer supports detailed examination of small anatomical structures.
The toolbar allows users to switch between axial, coronal and sagittal planes and search for specific structures using voice or text search. This makes it easier to locate important landmarks such as the ovaries, uterus, cervix, pelvic ureters, iliac vessels, bowel segments, abdominal organs and pelvic floor structures.
The side zoom tool provides up to 10× magnification without loss of image quality, allowing users to examine fine anatomical details and better understand the relationships between abdominal organs, pelvic viscera, muscles, bones and vascular structures.
This module is supported by dynamic Level 1 and Level 2 quizzes that generate new questions during each session. These interactive assessments help users actively revise, test their knowledge and retain complex female abdomen and pelvis CT anatomy.
